Mr. Md Shafikul Islam

Overview

Md Shafikul Islam (Shuvro) is a Lecturer in the Department of Multimedia and Creative Technology (MCT), Faculty of Science and Information Technology, Daffodil International University (DIU), Dhaka, Bangladesh. He teaches Fundamentals of Graphic Design, Texturing, Structured Programming, Physics-based Animation, Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR) Development, Digital Cinematography, Video Production, and Computer Fundamentals. His research interests include 3D Modeling, Lighting and Rendering, Texturing, Virtual Reality (VR), Mixed Reality (MR), Motion Graphics, Graphics Design, and Film and Media. He holds a B.Sc. in Multimedia and Creative Technology and is currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science), both from Daffodil International University. He has authored 2 publications with publishers including Springer Nature and IET. He is a Member of the Program Self-Assessment Committee (PSAC), the Patthocrom Committee, and the Distinguished Scholars Council of the Faculty of Science and Information Technology, and currently serves as Project Coordinator for the DIU Campus Legacy 25 Project.
