Overview

S. M. Monowar Kayser is an academician, researcher, and creative technologist from Thakurgaon, Bangladesh, where he spent his childhood and developed an early passion for art, drawing, and visual storytelling. His academic journey reflects a sustained commitment to excellence, earning him board scholarships at the primary, junior, secondary, and higher secondary levels, followed by Daffodil International University's prestigious four-year, fully funded Talent Hunt Scholarship with a stipend in 2018. He completed his B.Sc. in Multimedia and Creative Technology from Daffodil International University in 2022 with a CGPA of 3.94/4.00 and is pursuing an M.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering at the same university. As a Lecturer in the Department of Multimedia and Creative Technology at Daffodil International University, Kayser teaches across animation, visual design, architectural visualization, lighting and rendering, and audiovisual production. His research contributions include eight IEEE- and Springer-published works in applied machine learning, computer vision, and related areas. As a filmmaker and 3D artist, he co-developed ADWAR, a 3D animated short film that received the DigiCon6 ASIA Bangladesh Next Generation Award in 2022 and was screened at the Art Beats Festival in the United Kingdom in 2024. Beyond research and filmmaking, he is committed to mentoring students, supervising creative projects, and helping emerging artists achieve recognition through festivals and competitions. His journey from Thakurgaon to academic and creative achievements reflects his belief that sustained effort, scholarship, and imagination can bring artistic vision and technological innovation together.
